Our Association operates on a volunteer basis and the operation of our committee system generates invaluable input to the decisions we all face in making our Association the best it can be. Be part of this rewarding and educational experience and consider giving some time and talent back to the Association.
We make committee appointments in the fall each year through an application process. Each Committee’s one-year term starts in January.
The deadline to apply for our 2026 committees is October 27, 2025.
Business Partner – Members who are non-REALTOR® members and are willing to serve, to work, and to promote relationships between the REALTOR® members and the Business Partners of the Association.
Commercial – The Commercial Committee provides the Commercial members an opportunity to meet and discuss issues and matters that affect their business.
Global Real Estate Connections – Develop and implement education programs, networking events, and provide resources to prepare REALTORS® to successfully handle issues that are an integral part of working with international buyers and sellers.
Grievance – Review ethics and arbitration requests to make a preliminary evaluation to determine if a Professional Standards hearing is warranted. To participate on this committee, members must have been in real estate a minimum of 3 years. An appointment to this committee is a 3-year appointment. Annual training is required.
Legislative and Government Affairs – Identify opportunities for Association members to become better acquainted with candidates running for elected office. Conducts candidate interviews and recommends PAC contributions and support of candidates. An objective of this committee is to stay up to date on local and state issues affecting our membership and the way we conduct business and to keep the Membership apprised of these issues.
Million Dollar Awards – Reviews Million Dollar applications for the Association.
Professional Development – Provide professional career development opportunities to enhance the skills, knowledge, and professionalism of all members. Business Partners may also participate but participation is limited to the Chair and Vice Chair of the Business Partner Committee and 3 additional Business Partners.
Professional Standards – To provide hearing panels as required to hear matters of alleged unethical conduct by members or to provide arbitration to resolve a dispute between REALTOR® PRINCIPALS. Service for 3 years on the Grievance Committee is a prerequisite to be eligible to move up to the Professional Standards Committee. An appointment to this committee is a 3-year appointment. Annual training is required.
RPAC (Realtor Political Action Committee) and Advocacy – To fundraise and increase awareness of RPAC amongst our members. To develop and implement programs to encourage member investment in RPAC. This committee will strive to achieve the fundraising goals established for our Association in both dollars and member participation.
Young Professionals Network (YPN) – To assist young real estate professionals in excelling in their careers by providing business, networking, leadership and volunteer opportunities.
