This seminar defines the different methods of taking title and how it affects client’s estate; teaches basic understanding of a corporation’s ability to buy and sell real estate; the “ins” and “outs” of trusts and their ability to hold title; how to recognize legal competency and when an incompetency issue needs to be resolved; basics of partnerships owning real estate; when a power of attorney can or cannot be used; New Florida Statutes governing title insurance and common pitfalls of closings.
